Institutional Review Board (IRB)
INURED's Institutional Review Board (IRB) is registered with the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) - making us just one of three Haiti-based institutions with the capacity to provide IRB services to researchers. The IRB committee ensures that all proposed research meets international ethical guidelines and protects the rights and welfare of human subjects in research. Additionally, INURED's IRB provides Federal Wide Assurances (FWA) to other organizations that require proof of compliance with human research protections but lack the resources to maintain an IRB. If you would like to submit your research to INURED's IRB, please contact us at [email protected] IRB Standing Committee
INURED’s IRB Standing Committee is chaired by Dr. J. Bryan Page of the University of Miami. Dr. Page is a founding member and active supporter of INURED. He is joined by a distinguished international panel of colleagues covering the full spectrum of the social sciences.
