The Interuniversity Institute for Research and Development is an independent institution working primarily in the Haiti-Caribbean geographic area. The Institute is transnational in terms of its organization, members, resources, activities and philosophy. It is organized around three levels of partnerships: with national and international academic and scientific institutions, with individual partners, and with non-academic and community institutions (NGOs, international organizations, community associations, State agencies or ministries). Collaboration between INURED and its partners is based on a dynamic logic of exchange and complementarity. The physical space of the Institute is a shared resource, made available to all partners.
